My right side hurts from my back to the side I have had my appendix removed so it's not that what could it be?
Infection: If it hurts to urinate, it could mean bladder or urinary tract infection. If it hurts to defecate, it could be anal fissure or hemorrhoids. Very common, post op: Your diet post appendecomy should be soft and bland with slow advancement to a more normal diet. Post surgery 'gas' and 'gurgling' is normal. I had my appendix removed 4 months ago and I still have bad pain in my side when I move. Do you have an idea what it could be? The hospital didn't know
Just a thought:
But if your appendicitis was diagnosed "late" the infection in your appendix may have spread to a local lymph gland which "trapped" it but is still "REACTING" to the trapped organisms.
It should SUBSIDE eventually!
I would suggest an PELVIC MRI if your pain is that "bad"
Hope this helps
