I take background insulin (humulin i) and quick acting ( Novorapid (insulin aspart)). In Phase 1 I would not need to use the Novorapid (insulin aspart) but what about the Humulin i?

Insulin: I assume Humulin N, and novorapid (insulin aspart). Diabetes in its natural course of the disease tends to progress and likely to use more medicine is not unusual. Initially controlled with the intermediate acting Humulin N is no longer enough and body needs more help with meals, so rapid acting novorapid (insulin aspart) is added. Yes: Store new (unopened) vials in the refrigerator, between 36 and 46 degrees f (2 and 8 degrees c). Do not freeze. Certain brands of the medicine may be stored at room temperature, below 77 degrees f (25 degrees c) for up to 6 weeks (42 days), if refrigeration is not possible. It peaks at dirrerent times in different individuals as well as interpersonal variation day to day which is why it is difficult to regulate hepatic glucose production.
