Human Growth Hormone Cause Seizures
A hormone (from greek ὁρμή, "impetus") is a chemical released by a cell or a gland in one part of the body that sends out messages that affect cells in other parts of the organism. Only a little amount of hormone is required to alter cell metabolism. In essence, it is a chemical messenger that transports a signal from ...Read more
Can taking a type of human growth hormone cause infertility to where you will not be able to have kids?
Not if for low HGH: If a person takes human growth hormone because that person is low in his growth hormone level, then he will become normal in his level. By being normal (while on hgh) his fertility should not be affected by the hgh. That means that whether or not he is fertile should be unrelated to the hgh. However, if he is taking extra hgh, making his levels much too high, then the consequences are uncertain.See 1 more doctor answer
Many bad effects: Taking hgh has a number of deleterious effects on your body - including onset of diabetes, and a thickening of your bones. Your feet may get wider and your facial features change to become coarser. It is a big price to pay.
Many: If you take hgh (nutropin) after your growth centers have been closed the only things that will grow is cartilage so your ears and nose will get bigger and your facial features will become coarse. Hgh is also a diabetogenic substance, so it can give you diabetes. It also enhances the growth of intestinal polyps and may cause prostate enlargement and malignancy.
Read that frequent rubbing or massaging legs and feet can cause release of human growth hormone and added growth in all ages. Any truth to the claims?
No...: There has never been a published medical report that I have seen that demonstrates that massaging the legs has any effect of height - the growth plates close in the teen years and maximum height is achieved then. Frequent massages may make you feel better so you stand up more straight... giving the perception of being taller
Hgh: It increases the size of all organs. It's important during puberty for the grow of the bones. Some pituitary benign tumors may produce excessive amount causing gigantism (starting during puberal years) or acromegaly during adulthood. Hgh is used nowadays as anti aging medicine. It it is expensive and in inyectable form. It is still considered controversial to use it for that by some physicians.See 1 more doctor answer
No reason to: There is an immense amount of nonsense on the internet about human growth hormone. There are some bona fide reasons to use it, such as any premie with IUGR may benefit for catch-up growth and to attain a normal adult height. If a full grown man takes it, it may cause acromegaly (think of the James Bond "Jaws") because bones can't grow longer, just wider. An endocrinologist can evaluate if ok.See 1 more doctor answer
If don't need, yes.: If you are an appropriate candidate for it, such as short stature syndrome, growth hormone deficiency from various causes, then it won't be hard on you. It will improve your short stature, and whatever goes with that, like how others see you, and therefore self-esteem. Oh, i'd the injections are what your thinking about, the needles for subcutaneous are so fine, barely feel it.
HGH: Read Wikipedia: Too many effects in the body. Read a comprehensive article here http://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/growth_hormone#gh_in_human_medicine. Review my previous answers about it.See 1 more doctor answer
Sleep well to grow: Growth hormone is released during sleep-so if you can get good quality sleep, that will help your body regulate it's own hormones. We call sleeping well-'sleep hygiene'. Also, before the invention of the electric light, diaries indicated we slept TEN hours a night on average, not just 8. Try keeping a sleep log to see if you're getting good enough sleep (running a sleep deficits means you are not)
Direct/indirect: Gh stimulates growth by different mechanisms. The one we most commonly refer to is when gh stimulates the production of igf-1 from the liver which mediates a lot of the body growth with the help of other proteins which are made in response to gh stimulation. Igf-1 is the main growth factor.
No: Growth stops when growth plates close. On average this is around 16-17 for boys and 15-16 for girls.
