Can you get HPV only from another person who has the virus? I never slept with anyone but have a pimple supposed to see a dermatologist to treat. Hpv?

Unlikely: The HPV are a wide ranging group of dozens of viral strains. There are 4 important ones that are passed sexually, but the common skin wart is also caused by a strain. If you have not had any sexual exposure, it is unlikely you could have one of those strains. The common skin wart strain is often passes hand to hand or by general exposures. Pimple like lesions are likely caused by something else. ...Read more

I get pimples on my face often i wonder if it's from HPV becuase i don't eat sugar or grease?

Not HPV: Testosterone. A good thing overall.Hpv doesn't cause acne and neither do sugar or grease despite the pop claims. If you're still having acne at age 31, you can try managing it youself with benzoyl peroxide. If not sufficient and it bothers you, a next reasonable step is topical Clindamycin from your physician, perhaps with a retinoic acid derivative. I required oral tetracycline till about age 50. ...Read more

See your doctor: What you describe could be one of several conditions. The only way to know is to be seen by a physician, probably a dermatologist, perhaps a urologist. Possibly: HPV can certainly be located in the oral cavity (although with a much lower frequency than the genital region) and is associated with an increased risk of throat and oral cancer but it would be very unlikely to show up at your age.
