Endometriosis: Endometriosis can cause scarring on one's ovaries, even without having had prior surgeries. Of course having a cesarean can cause scarring too, simply because any pelvic or abdominal surgery can cause scar tissue to form. Sometimes a pelvic infection can cause scarring on the ovaries.
