Human papillomavirus after being diagnose with hpv, i notice something down "there" which i think by feeling it, i see like bumps only on one area. But it does not look like warts because i looked all over online to identified what it was but it does not
What are the chances of HPV human papillomavirus clearing on its own in someone's system (i.e a 27year old male) who has abstained for 7years since..?
Good chance: There is about a 70-90% chance that the immune system can clear the virus. If he notices symptoms (genital warts), he probably still has the virus. Condoms will reduce the infection rate to his partner, but it is not 100%, since it is transmitted from skin to skin, even through oral sex. Having the partner be vaccinated (as long as they're under age 26), would also reduce transmission. ...Read more

Complex Mechanism: The two vaccines are "attenuated". This means that only a portion of some hpv strains are attached to molecules that activate your immune system. You are not given a complete hpv virus, but only a part to train your body's immune system to recognize and target the virus strains. It does not treat cancer.
