Herpes: It very well could be. I always advise adults that given the significant new information about herpes that they get the blood tests to see if they have indeed been exposed. If you were in my clinic i would put you on herpes medication to see if this heals you easily and stops the re-occurences. ...Read more

No treatment: unfortunately if you have HPV, there is no cure right now except for keeping your immunity up not smoking and maintaining good health. There is some evidence to say that getting a HPV vaccine can still be helpful. get regular Pap smears and see your doctor for any irregular bleeding. ...Read more

Your HPV will clear: HPV and herpes are different viruses. Not every virus causes the same health problems as others. Neither herpes nor HPV is very dangerous, and it isn't sexual transmission that makes anything dangerous. Most HPV infections (type 16 and others) are cleared by the immune system over 1-2 years and do not cause cancer. People tend to get freaked because of association with sex, but there's no need. ...Read more
