I shared a cigarette with a guy I don't know and a couple weeks after I have 3 random canker sores on my mouth. Is it possible this is HPV-1?

Diagnosed with HPV and have a canker sore on the front of my mouth. Its not in the Back of throat like things say, should I be worried for oral cancer?
No: It is unlikely that you have oral cancer. Was HPV detected as part of PAP smear? You should follow your doctor's advise about follow-up tests. You should still get HPV vaccine to prevent against other strains of the virus. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Best: TIME: Though i routinely prescribe nsaids to control pain from canker sores during the 3-5 days that they are uncomfortable. In rare cases, called "major aphthae" i will prescribe a short course of oral corticosteroid--especially if the lesion/s interfere with swallowing or speech.
