Dysautonomia: 18y fem has "Hypermobility Syndrome, weak muscles, POTS, difficulty controlling bladder/bowel". Autonomic nerves are tethered at vertebral foramina & subluxing joints, especially sacroiliac joints, impinge these nerves arousing neural stimuli of smooth muscles of arteries, intestine & bladder. Consider workup: While it is possible that ic can cause quite severe pelvic floor pain, you should be seen by a urologist who is familiar with ic. Make sure there is not something else going on to cause your pain, such as endometriosis, infection, abscess, mass. ...Read more
