Natural remedies: Use natural remedies that you probably have already at home. You can use chamomile tea compresses that will calm down the skin. Not sure how severe the burn is, but stay away of make up, and creams that have many chemicals a additives. Hello, i want to ask if it is enough to clean potentional rabies virus from hand(not from wound) with water or is it neccessary to use desinfection?
When using Tretinoin 0.05% cream to reduce wrinkles, can you use other night creams as well? If so, which do you apply first and how long in between?
Yes: I love tretinoin for skin rejuvenation! I generally recommend that my patients wash their face in the evening, apply a toner and then the tret. I then recommend that you wait 15 minutes before applying other creams on top of the tret. If you get skin irritation from the tret you can "cut" it with a moisturizer. for more on facial rejuvenation see: http://www.omahacosmeticsurgery.com/face/ ...Read more

What do you advise if I'm looking for products similar to propel water or drinks with electrolytes that I can buy in drugstores or supermarket, what can you recommend?
Propel substitute: Propel contains water, Vitamins C, E B3, B5, B6 and B12. as well as calcium and potassium (K). All of the vitamins other than Vitamin E are water soluble. This means they cannot be stored by the body and any excess amounts of these are eliminated in the urine. A cheaper alternative is to ingest any citrus juice and take multivitamin pills that contain calcium. The juice will give you K. Good luck. ...Read more

Any home remedies to get white & bright teeths? Or any particular product to use? And how to avoid bad breath? Thnx
Chlorine dioxide : Floss your teeth well, then brush & rinse with chlorine dioxide (ie closys). The chlorine dioxide kills gram negative aneurobic bacteria that is usually the cause of bad breath and it also whitens your teeth as a side effect. I use this in my practice for my patients and it works very well. This is also used for periodontal/gum problems. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Hand Eczema: 1. Wash the hands as infrequently as possible and use gentle soaps-i.e. Dove 2. Apply a hand cream after washing and during the day. Neutragena hand cream and cetaphil hand cream are both great. 3. Keep the hands out of water--use rubber gloves with cotton liners when doing dishes. 4. Is rubbing alcohol enough to kill staph after dressing a boil? (i usually wash briefly also to remove the smell, but want to make sure this is enough)
Peroxide is better: Alcohol is very toxic to skin, especially damaged skin. Hydrogen peroxide works well to kill any residual germs while causing less tissue damage. An antibiotic ointment may help as well (triple antibiotic ointments are available as generics equivalent to neosporin). Many experts believe thorough washing with good old soap and water (not briefly!) is as good or better than abx ointments. ...Read more
