Dirty splint?: Is the splint smelly? That could cause it. Is there any damage to the skin? If so she needs to get back to the doctor to get it checked.

Swollen and bruised hand. No trauma. Cold to touch and numb. Painful for a week with no improvement of swelling or bruising.

Be checked: Be assessed. You are describing symptoms that may be related to a blood clot or nerve damage. You need to have both these possibilities ruled out. All the best.

My inner right wrist has formed a yellowing bruise, the right hand is constantly ice cold and tingly and numb. How do I treat this?

See below: This sounds as though you have bruised one of the nerves on the inside of your wrist. (the swelling fro the bruise could also have compressed this nerve). This should get better on its own, nsaids will help. If this does;t improve seek the help of a doctor.

I punched a wall a few times and my knuckle is very swollen and bruised. I can still see my knuckle when I make a fist. How should I treat it?

Have it evaluated: Punching anything is dangerous and puts you at risk of a fracture of the hand (called a Boxer's fracture). You might have also embedded material from the wall into your skin or deeper tissues. This can result in a serious infection.

I stubbed my pinky toe and its very bruised, swollen and has a burning sensation. Should I get it checked out by a doctor or just treat it at home?

I would: Get it checked. Sounds like a fracture but if its displaced it will need to be reduced. Most often the aren't displaced and can tape it to the next toe to immobilize it.
