Losing weight: To lose weight, get ur resting metabolism rate done (weight loss centers do this). This determines the total number of calories you need to lose 1-2lbs/week. Decreasing 500cal/day will give you a 1lb wt loss in 1wk; drink water (1/2 your body weight), eat small meals about 150-200cal 2-4x/ (depending on your metabolism rate) and 500cal/meal at night: lean protein/veggies; avoid carbs, .
With some hard work.: You cannot have spot fat loss. You would need to lose weight in general & a certain proportion of that will be abdominal fat. Thyroid & manyother things ruled out;i developed pots/dysautonomia 2 weeks post pregnancy;can I die from this? Or could I get better? Or stay the same
POTS: Orthostatic tachycardia (rapid heart rate with blood pressure maintained) - called pots, is not fatal and often happens after viral infections or flu, rarely other times. Often it gradually improves. If there is more autonomic involvement than pots, that can be riskier, but pots typically not life threatening. Good hydration, salt intake and gentle graded exercise best approach.
Severe caloric restr: Restriction and exercise but it is the caloric restriction that will lose the weight.
Slow down a little.: Don’t strive to lose your pregnancy weight instantaneously. Your body has just been through a lot. If you breast feed your baby that will burn extra calories. Make sensible nutrition choices. Remain physically active. Ensure that calories burned exceed calories consumed. Take care.

I developed p.O.T.S and lupus post pregnancy, my BP also drops when standing, is there ever a chance of it getting better?
P.O.T. S: P.O.T.S and lupus post pregnancy needs thorough evaluation and management due to associated symptoms of dizziness, near syncope, palpitations to name a few with changes in posture. No, not a good idea: Actually the opposite is true. Although you may feel and look thinner while wearing a tummy belt, wearing the belt regularly will weaken the underlying muscles, resulting in lose of muscle tone. On physical examination, older women who wore girdles for years stomachs protrude due to weakness of abdominal muscles. It is far better to strengthen the muscles through exercise.

Underarm lumps: Sometimes lumps in the underarm area represent additional breast tissue in breastfeeding moms. However it is important that she is checked by her physician to make sure the lumps do not represent something more serious.
