May be BUT: You need an internal postpartum exam to assure all is well intra vaginally and that you do not need a procedure to assure all is back to normal. Best wishes.

POTS: Orthostatic tachycardia (rapid heart rate with blood pressure maintained) - called pots, is not fatal and often happens after viral infections or flu, rarely other times. Often it gradually improves. If there is more autonomic involvement than pots, that can be riskier, but pots typically not life threatening. Good hydration, salt intake and gentle graded exercise best approach.

I developed p.O.T.S and lupus post pregnancy, my BP also drops when standing, is there ever a chance of it getting better?

P.O.T. S: P.O.T.S and lupus post pregnancy needs thorough evaluation and management due to associated symptoms of dizziness, near syncope, palpitations to name a few with changes in posture. Lupus by itself needs careful evaluation and management by a rheumatologist due to its multi system involvement. With full understanding and proper management symptoms of p.O.T.S has better prognosis in younger pts.

No, not a good idea: Actually the opposite is true. Although you may feel and look thinner while wearing a tummy belt, wearing the belt regularly will weaken the underlying muscles, resulting in lose of muscle tone. On physical examination, older women who wore girdles for years stomachs protrude due to weakness of abdominal muscles. It is far better to strengthen the muscles through exercise.

A few things: It is important to know how far post pregnancy. Back stretches and yoga help in the short run. Months later it might be a disc problem that occurred during pregnancy. It is best to get imaging of your back and treat accordingly.
