First you state you : Have an infection...So yes, see a doctor as if it is not treated the infection can spread. Not being able to move your foot may have to do with the infection ..In either case if it is killing you then it would be wise to have it checked. The toe nail probably needs to be completely removed- which is best done by a doctor with local anesthetic. Besides, you need an evaluation for 'cellulitis' or localized infection there.
