How can you tell the difference in symptoms of a heart attack & asthma when you feel tightness in your chest and you just feel bad anyway? Very tired.

Can't always: Associated symptoms vary with heart attack, and wheeze may rarely be present. Usually chest pain/pressure prominent feature, but not always. Asthma needs managed to optimize it and prevent bad flares which could give confusing symptoms. For now, if in doubt, need to go to er for evaluation and treatment.

What to do if I'm having an asthma or heart attack?

Inhaler vs ER: If you have an asthma attack, use an inhaler (if that was given to you by your doctor) If you have a heart attack, you belong in the ER. HOWEVER: this is not the right question to be asking on the Internet, but you need a diagnosis and evaluation by your doctor

Does having asthma put you at a greater risk for heart attack or stroke? Particularly when exercising? Thank you!

Depends: It is risky only if there is a documented history of significant heart disease, eg, stents, angioplasty, bypass, HTN. Otherwise, asthma is not a risk factor. And exercise is recommended.

Am I at risk of a heart attack or stroke past out rushed to hospital was treated with steroids for asthma but nothing more complained about chest pain but nothing was done about it still having severe chest pain

See your provider: If you were discharged, you didn't have a heart attack or stroke, but you need to see your provider to work up the chest pain. You might need a stress test, echocardiogram, or even catheterization; you might not need any more testing, if the pain is really just asthma. But there are many causes of chest pain, and you should see your provider to figure out what is going on.

22 year old, chest pain, shortness of breathe and dizziness. I do have a history of severe anxiety and asthma. Could it be a heart attack?

Would doubt it is: Heart attack however, anxiety is a diagnosis of exclusion and even if you do have anxiety you can still have other medical problems causing these symptoms. If persistent, or out of the ordinary for you see your doctor asap.

See your PCP: Anxiety can often present like a heart attack and many people end up in the ER because they don't know. It can be very frightening, but the only way to know for sure is to be checked by a doctor. If your heart is fine, you may want to consider the level of stress in your life or if anything in particular is worrying you, large or small. Talking to a professional can help you figure this out.
