Possible: It is always possible that you could be pregnant if you had any unprotected intercourse. Hi, i'm 9 weeks pregnant and have been vomiting up all meals for 2 days, in some cases with some blood. I'm dehydrated, what can I do to retain food?

Start with fluids: You need to rehydrate before you start worrying about food. The baby can tolerate fasting for a while but the dehydration is the problem. Don't even think about food right now and focus on fluids only. Those with a little sugar like flat ginger ale, gatorade, pedialyte will be better tolerated than plain water. If that doesn't work you will need to go to the er for IV hydration. ...Read more

YOu should: Be discussing this with your OB ! the only way to tell is to get on monitor either in your ob's offcie or the labor room, if u were my pt and u are not in labor i would offer to induce u at 39 weeks the earliest time it is acceptable to do an elective induction, i frequently do that and my pts are so happy they don't have to suffer any more, it is safe and works 99% of the time when I do it. ...Read more
