How long should someone take blood presure medication? What is the difference between exforge and exforge htc? And for how long should some one be takten it. Should they continue even if the BP goes down to normal?
2 or 3 ingredients: Exforge is a combo of amlodipine and valsartan. Exforge hct is the same plus hydrochlorothiazide. One needs lifetime BP control. Whether with Exforge or different medicine: whatever it takes. If BP normalizes (let's say, with weight loss), then the medicine can be reduced or even stopped as long as BP stays normal.
