No: I have never seen a documented case of sugar allergy. However it is possible that you may be allergic to honey made from pollen you are allergic to. No: There's been a lot of hype. The truth is, hfcs is 55% fructose and 45%glucose. Sucrose (table sugar) is about 50%fructose and 50%glucose. Glucose is used by our bodies as is. Fructose, on the other hand, requires processing by the liver to be used by the body. I recommend avoiding foods that contain a lot of either one.
