How To Stop Muscle Twitching In Arm
It is a body tissue that has the ability to contract. It shortens and generates force. It relaxes and returns to its original length. Muscles move joints, stabilize the body, move air and food through the organs, act as valves for bladder, bowel and other organs. They control movement of the eyes. They help us express ourselves by changing the shape of our ...Read more
Muscle twitching all over body. It started in my upper right arm now its off and on all over my body for over 24 hours.
Can occur all over: Muscle twitching can be from dehydration or problems in electrolytes. Cramps can also occur with this. Muscles can be affected by changing levels of sodium and potassium as well as thyroid issues. Sustained twitches are unusual as most are transient in nature. Benign muscle twitches tend to occur all over the body. ...Read more
25 yo man. Healthy. Just started to have muscle twitching in my right arm last 24hrs. Comes&goes. No pain. Why? What to do? Already got nerve issues.
Vitamin D/Calcium: Can be many reasons for this, but often due to inadequate calcium and vitamin d in your diet. Hydration can also play a role if you are working out and not replenshing your fluids and electrolytes. I would start with 600 mg of calcium and 3-4000 units of vitamin d a day and see if that helps. ...Read more
What's the cause of muscle twitching very often during the day for the last 4 days in my left upper arm?
It depends: Involuntary muscle twitching can be caused by electrolyte imbalances (low potassium, for example); overuse (fatigue), some neurological conditions (writer's cramp among other things) dehydration, and even some medications or discontinuation of medication. If it continues and is a concern see your pcp for a more thorough history and examination. ...Read more

See ortho: You should visit an orthopaedic surgeon. You need a full physical exam and some imaging to diagnose the problem. Get it evaluated: That's my opinion. You could get some labs done and a good neuromuscular examination (maybe by a good neurologist) and get appropriate diagnostic testing. You could have a condition known as benign fasciculations but if your knees are collapsing then, you should go in for medical attention. ...Read more

I have noticed muscle twitching after taking Zoloft (sertraline) 200mg at night in my arms and legs I usualy go 2 sleep straight away but not yesterday is this ok?
My opinion: No: Zoloft (sertraline) can cause a creepy crawly feeling or twitching in the arms and/or legs. This is thought to be due to spillover into dopaminergic neurons especially at the higher doses. It can be calmed down with klonopin, but you need to review the pro's and con's of having abnormal muscle movements with your treating physician. ...Read more
