I have lupus and I'm on prednisone. I was on a high dosage starting at 60mg and now I'm tapering down to 5mg will certain foods cause a flare up?
Yes it can...: Any significant illness can affect your cycle--timing, quality and quantity of your flow etc... Also, many medications can affect your cycle as well, and i suspect that with a significant flare-up of yur lupus, you recieved additional treatments. Why: Why do you have to stop the Cellcept? Mesalamine is an anti-inflammatory so if you stop it there is a chance that colitis symptoms could get worse. However, it doesn't mean that you would automatically get worse if you stop it.
