Bleeding? Spotting?: The average menstrual cycle is 28 days, but the normal range is 21-35 days. A cycle of only 15 days is short. If bleeding on day 15 was more spotting, & you are not using contraception, then implantation bleeding associated with conception would need to be considered. Cycles can vary: To a point. What concerns me is that when you say you are having them twice a month.... Is the bleeding heavy, spotting? It would be a good idea to be seen by your obgyn for an evaluation. This very well could be nothing but better to evaluated. Pregnancy/Normal: The first thing that needs to be ruled out if AT ALL possible is pregnancy. If it is a possibility do a home pregnancy test. This could be a pregnancy or a "chemical pregnancy". The other thing is that at 23 this is a common occurrence. If the flow was normal and this was a one time thing no worries. If your next period is abnormal this needs to be checked.
