Daily stools : I would not suggest taking laxatives daily. Instead make sure your TSH levels are close to 2.5 and you increase your water intake. Also, taking metamucil or benefiber daily will help increase your fiber intake and hopefully your stools. ...Read more

Replacement works: Being hypothyroid doesn't mean that your thyroid gland is working at all. It just may not be producing the amount of thyroid hormone that is needed. The good thing is that thyroid replacement works great and taking it should be able to prevent all the complications that are associated with hypothyroidism.
