Call the doc: Who put u on that pill, and ask your doc, I do not prescribe that generic pill, I use mostly monphasic pills, my #1 pill is loloestrin and if my pts want to skip the period they do not take the placebo pills and start a new pack, this works much better with a monophasic pill than a tri- phasci pill that u are on. ...Read more
Skip Placebos: TriSprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) has 21 active pills followed by 7 placebo pills. If you want to skip one period, take the 21 active pills as always. Then on day 22, start a new pack of triSprintec (norgestimate and ethinyl estradiol) and take it normally instead of taking the placebos .
