Probably a wash: It's probably about the same risk. I can't think of a reason why the steam would make it more transmissible. The best thing you can do by far is good hand washing and avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth as much as you can. ...Read more

Unless your doc has found you have an immune defect you should consider this just an unexpected life event.You can/should always practice good personal hygiene,get your flu shot, avoid risky situations,etc. But to hide from people seems a bit much. ...Read more

I tried researching this on many sites & simply could not find a definitive response to that specific question. Avoid Dehydration: It is important to maintain hydration. Drinking water is best. Avoid beverages with sugar or caffeine since they cause more fluid loss. Other than fluids for hydration rest the GI system meaning reduce dietary intake which could stimulate more diarrhea as well. Question if it could be a side effect of the Penicillin VK (yogurt with probiotics would also be of benefit). See doc if not improving. ...Read more
