Yesterday, i had a brain MRI w/ and w/ out contrast. According to the office, someone has read my MRI but not made an official report of the notes yet. If i had a tumor, would I have been notified?

Report of brain MRI: Most likely the report will be forwarded to the ordering physician or specialist who ordered the test. He/she will be the one who will notify of the results of your brain mri. If you have any suspected lesion, possibly you will be referred for further testing. ...Read more

Interpretation: The encephalomalacia represents an area that dates back years. This could have been a congenital vascular malformation, prior trauma associated with birth or developmental issues, and is very unlikely to explain your headaches. Dissection is a --: -sudden onset, in Ur age group usually following significant trauma 2 the neck, as in MVA high speed. It is severely painful. U need 2 C a neurologist 4 eval. 2 find the cause. 1 of the facial nerve branches may B the cause.as this sounds like a Bells palsy. It usually is also painful& there is a muscle weakness involved.
