How to not be scared to have sex for fear of getting her pregnant?

How to not be scared to have sex for fear of getting her pregnant?

Don't have sex: I believe that if you are going to have sex, you must assume that she may get pregnant. 1 in 200 women who use the pill get pregnant per year even using the pill appropriately, 4 per 200 with an iud, 20 per 200 with condoms, even tubal ligations and vasectomies can fail. Half of all pregnancies in this country are "unplanned". They have kept me busy delivering babies for a long time. ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

For sure: - you might have gotten pregnant. Tired doesn't mean anything, though. ! day after period ends is a bit early for most women, but still possible. You need to wait until a missed period, good luck though! ...Read more

Had sex a wk before period and got a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after. Is that possible? Or could pregnancy hav happen before that intercourse?

Had sex a wk before period and got a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after. Is that possible? Or could pregnancy hav happen before that intercourse?

Maybe. Maybe not.: If already pregnant, that would mean the "period" was not a real menstrual period, because having a real menstrual period clears out the uterus... So having a real menstrual period means not pregnant at that time. ...Read more

Yes, you may be: If you had unprotected sexual intercourse with a fertile man, there is a risk you may be pregnant or may have been pregnant. Old way or DNA way..: The father of an unborn baby is the person a woman had sex with. To avoid confusion, and many emotional, community, and societal problems, men and women can choose to have sex with one person in any time period (thus avoiding any confusion as to who the father is). Failing that, when the baby is born the mother may be able to tell who her baby looks like the most. Dna testing can be done, too. ...Read more

Fears like this: Should be addressed with a therapist. Realistically, you can't get pregnant not even a sexually transmitted disease in the ways you're worrying about. I can't talk you out of this on the web and I'm sure others have offered all kinds of rational (to them)explanations which haven't helped. This is probably a symptom of a more serious psychiatric condition. See a therapist or psychiatrist. ...Read more

It : It would be reasonable to take a pregnancy test now based on your symptoms. It does make it hard when you have very irregular periods as you note. If your test is negative, but you still don't get your period, wait two days then re-take the test. If it is still negative you could see your doctor and possibly get a blood pregnancy test, which is more accurate. In general, the pregnancy test can become positive 10 days after pregnancy though every womans hormone level of pregnancy (HCG) can be a little different at different stages of the pregnancy. ...Read more
