Fetzima: is a balanced SNRI antidepressant. It may have more potent noradrenergic action than serotoneric action. It was studied in 3 separate 8 week trials before receiving recent FDA approval last summer. Its more likely to cause elevated heart rate, elevated blood pressure and sweating (loss of fluids) compared with SSRI's or other SNRI's. Possibly: Losing significant weight as you did can alter menstrual pattern, particularly if you have been continuing to restrict your intake. It also could be pregnancy. Your BMI is fine: At 5'1" and 100 lbs, your BMI is 18.9. Thats on the low side of normal. You don't need to loose any more weight. Remember being too "light" can be harmful for your health, just like being overweight(granted it isn't a common problem for most, particularly in the US). ...Read more

Weight : Weight loss is such a frustrating thing. Our bodies evolved to hold onto weight, and it can be very difficult once a plateau is reached. I have to say, that losing 30 pounds is amazing, so congratulations. You are doing everything right. You might need to "jump start" your weight loss by a change in exercise program. Break up exercise: To help lose weight, you still need 150minutes per week of exercise. You can break up this time as 15 minute intervals (everyone can do that) to help accomplish this goal. I usually recommend about 1200cal/day with one 500cal meal at night and three 200cal snacks for the day.
