Auricle ear piercing information. Is it normal to bed red and swollen? Also should it be pierced with a normal earring or a bar?

Red not normal: Red and swollen is not normal. It is a sign of inflammation and possibly infection. As far as to whether you use a regular earring or a bar, it depends on what you want in the end. When infection happens on the skin, certain immune system cells go from the skin to nearby lymph nodes to recruit more immune system cells to fight the infection.
