It depends...: How bad was the extend...You are better off having it examined by a surgeon or emergency doc. Irritation: It sounds like the skin around your vaginal area is irritated. I can't be sure without an exam, of course. You can try spraying the area with water and gentle patting (instead of wiping), if you need to clean it. Sitz bath may help to soothe. Take a look and see if it's red, scraped, etc?
