Doctor can check...: A primary care doctor or a dermatologist can examine the fingers if a person is worried about how much of the skin got sanded away. Most likely, the skin will heal up back to normal (maybe with some color changes that should normalize over time), because if the sanding was really deep, the person would have screamed and pulled her hand away.
