Sambucol, an elderberry extract, is proven to help. Avoid tamiflu- barely helps, serious side effects! my favorite treatment is homeopathy- the right remedy can be magic! for help finding it see: http://www.Flusolution.Net/remedies.Htm. ...Read more

What should be done to get rid of the flu?

Time and rest: Flu lasts about 7 to 10 days. If you see your doctor and get on antiviral medicine within the first 48 hours you might decrease the length and severity of your illness, but only by a little bit, and the antiviral meds are expensive. Your best bets are rest, fluids, soup, and meds for symptoms (like cough and congestion meds with a pain reliever). Stay home until you stop running fever. ...Read more

I read online that I will never get rid of MRSA and will itch, hurt, and feel like I have the flu forever. Is that true?

No, not true: Many people get MRSA skin infections, and do recover with treatment. With resistant staph bacteria (mrsa), the infection takes work to get rid of, requiring housecleaning, various forms of antibiotics, special baths, treating family members, etc... Infections spread from person to person, and must be evaluated by a primary care doctor, sometimes with help from an infectious diseases expert. ...Read more
