How To Get Rid Of Excess Estrogen In Your Body
What can a male age 21 do to reduce/ get rid of facial/ body hair without laser hair removal and that is relatively inexpensive should I take estrogen? Or is there another solution
Supplement estrogen: If you mean as a result of menopause, estrogen replacement therapy would easily control the symptoms as well as providing long term benefits. If you mean PMS symptoms, you could take a lose dose estrogen during that portion of the cycle to minimize your symptoms. Finally, if you mean as a result of stopping current estrogen replacement - there are medications that can help - see your doctor.
Excision&Liposuction: Estrogen grows breast tissue, low testosterone in relation to estrogen will too. Causes of gynecomastia (man boobs), include obesity, pot, ace inhibitors, various other drugs, and phytoestrogens present in soy and processed foods. A combination of liposuction to the breast and surrounding area, & direct excision of breast tissue are necessary to insure a good result. Results, reviews of surgeons!See 1 more doctor answer
I'm having this male boob problem, I have coagulated estrogen behind my nipples, looks weird for a male how to get rid of them please help?
Gynecomastia: The appearance of breast development in a male is usually called gynecomastia, which means a growth and/or prominence of the breast tissue. Most of this growth usually occurs in fat cells and may just be a result of being overweight. It can also be induced by certain medications (tagament, spironolactone, proscar, (finasteride) etc). There is no good medical treatment. If you really want them gone, then surgery.
Can dim /di-indole-methane/ supplement that balances estrogen levels, help get rid of gynecomastia?
Balancing estrogen?: Maybe. There's no good studies ; little theory; it's targeted for bodybuilders abusing steroids. You're an adult now. You're also taking prednisone, which I must suppose is prescribed by a physician for something really serious. Your life is too difficult already for you to be called "the guy with the __s". You owe it to yourself to have definitive treatment, which is office surgery.
Is atrophic vaginitis discharge usually white? Can it come and go or is it continuous? Will a vag moist get rid of it or do you have to use estrogen?
Hi I'm a male age 31 nd was told after recent bloodwork that I have high estrogen level, I have arimidex (anastrozole) nd was wondering how to go about getting rid of the excess estrogen nd if I take the arimidex (anastrozole) nd it works to get the lev
Not clear why: The important question is why your doctor ordered an estrogen level which is not an easy test to interpret, especially if a "total estrogen" level was ordered rather than an "estradiol". If the reason was for gynecomastia, there might be a reason to try Arimidex (anastrozole) to lower E levels and try to shrink the amount of breast tissue but effectiveness of that drug for gynecomastia is quite variable.
Sad or depressed?: It is unclear if you are having enough symptoms of depression to make it advisable to take measures (whether hormonal or prophylactic medication) to prevent postpartum depression. Getting sad periodically is normal, especially if there is a reason. In order to address this individually, see a mental health professional with expertise in perinatal issues.See 3 more doctor answers
Doesn't seem to: Hormone therapy seems to have little or no effect on cognitive function. Estrogen + progestin or estrogen alone are not recommended for women at any age to prevent cognitive decline. Hormone therapy appears to increase the risk of dementia when started in women who are 65 or older.See 1 more doctor answer
Works in pituitary: The estrogen in the pill alters the normal feedback to the pituitary gland, which in turn prevents the changes (rise) in fsh (follicle stimulating hormone) and lh (luteinizing hormone) levels which lead to ovulation, which is the release of the egg from the ovary. Since the egg doesn't leave the ovary, it is not physically accessible for the sperm to fertilize it.
Why is it bad to go through early menapause? Why is it important to take estrogen after a complete hysterectomy to prevent early menapause?
Early Menopause: When the ovaries stop producing estrogen and progesterone, some degenerative processes start, such as bone loss leading eventually to osteoporosis, and changes in cholesterol that can increase risk of heart disease, and cognitive decline. If menopause is early, these processes start up sooner. Hormone replacement delays the process.
How to prevent uterine lining from thickening on bhrt. And once it thickens from too much estrogen can I make it thin out by decreasing my estrogen?
No: The only proven way to minimize the development of wrinkles is prevention of skin damage, good health, a family history of robust skin and gentle conscientious cleansing with the use of a good moisturizer. So don't smoke, eat healthy carotene rich foods, apply sunscreens and cleanse your skin of make-up residues etc. At least once a day. Retin-a helps; particularly with oily skin.See 1 more doctor answer
