It is composed of mostly water, and breakdown products from blood cells impart ...Read more
I have a trace of Leukocytes and a trace of homolyzed in my blood and urine. What can I do to get rid of it.
The leukocytes: In your urine could mean that you did not use all 3 wipes to get everything REALLY clean before you collected the specimen- you should urinate into the toilet first, THEN collect the specimen. Hemolysis in your blood means that you either had a traumatic draw (you were a hard stick), they used too small of a needle, or whoever spun your blood down waited too long to seperate the cells from serumSee 2 more doctor answers

My doctor found white blood cells in my urine and prescribed Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim). I noticed a bump down there that burns. How can I get rid of it?
Exam needed: The words 'bump' is meaningless on the internet. You need an examination to determine what is causing the 'bump' and how to treat it.
See a Urologist: Gross blood or blood you can see in urine should be evaluated by a urologist. It may require some urine tests, ct scan imaging and possibly a cystoscopy (or direct look in the bladder with a small scope). Questions to consider: any pain with blood, any associated symptoms, are you a smoker or not, any other voiding (peeing) issues? See your pcp for a referral.See 3 more doctor answers

What could cause chronic high white blood cell reading. Anytime I get blood work for years my wbc is always high. Blood in urine always possitive too?
How high?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have helped to know the actual values. The normal values are the central 95% of a healthy population, by definition, 5% of healthy people with have an abnormal result on almost all tests. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Had blood in urine 1 year ago. Have had 5 US, 2 cysto., 4 cyto. And 2 ct scans. Since last month, blood in semen twice. Should I get further tests?
Sorry to hear. ..: Apparently, you & doctor are confronting personal and professional dilemma because of the high pressure of political correctness and even commercialism. If all the tests have been unremarkable, it is the time to halt professional aggressiveness, but do renal US, UA, blood test for renal function once every 2-3 yrs for 2-3 times. Later, adjust accordingly. See: http://formefirst. Com/hematuria. Html.
I get a BPH surgery TURP 3 days ago it was successful surgery but there is still blood in urine with bad burn when urinate any risk will I be better?
I had bladder cancer 15 years ago. I had a trace of blood inmy urine. The doctor scoped me and found no tumor. He sent my blood to get a full report. What else could be the cause of blood in urine?
Lots of things: Congratulations on your cancer survival. With blood in the urine it's certainly possible that the tumor had returned but the scope is reassuring so that's clearly positive. Could be infection causing the blood, could potentially still be treatment related though typically that would have happened earlier. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
I get hemorraghic cystitis when I get an uti. Had cytoscopy - red and inflamed. Dr. Also wants MRI of kidneys. Always have blood in urine. Clue why?
Other causes: When you had acute hemorrhagic cystitis it was documented by cystoscopy & you were symptomatic. But you say you "always"have blood in urine.Whether it is microscopic or visible to the eye it is still blood. This is why your doctor wants radiographic study because there are many causes of hematuria above the bladder which will not show at cystoscopy. Go ahead with doctor's advice. Good luckSee 2 more doctor answers

I: I can not diagnose your condition. When a man has blood in his urine (hematuria) it should be evaluated to determine the cause. You have a constellation of symptoms that may or may not all be interconnected. Recurrent testicular pain, what I believe you are describing as left flank pain, urinary retention and hematuria warrant medical evaluation.
