U need to see a gyn

for an infertilty evaluation because at your age 1 yr of trying with no pregnancy is the definition of infertility, it could be just one thing wrong with you or multiple issues and 35% can be from your partner , so he needs to do one semen analysis to an infertilty specialist ( not the local lab), your gyn can set this up for u

Possibly

There is always a possibility of pregnancy if you are having unprotected intercourse. It is best to ALWAYS use a condom and another form of birth control - that way you're protected from STD's and pregnancy as much as possible (except for not having sex at all). Women have even become pregnant while bleeding (during their period). Our ovaries are not Swiss clocks, keep their own time.....

Yes

It's possible. Sperm typical lives up to 72 hours inside a womans genital tract. There are rare reports of longer, up to 7 days. But 72 hours is fairly common. I hope it turns out however you want it to. Good luck!

After by definition

You always ovulate 2 weeks before your period. If you are regular, you can estimate when you ovulate, which is usually mid-cycle or 2 weeks after your period. Have unprotected sex often around the day you would be ovulating, and this will give you the best chances of getting pregnant. Good luck.

No simple answer.

Many couples have difficulty conceiving because of a male factor. I request that all of my couples start with a semen analysis. Careful history can help determine risk factors for other problems such as a history of pelvic infections, missing periods or improper timing. It is valuable for the couple to sit down with a professional and have a detailed discussion.

See a REI specialist

With the right tests, we can find out why you're not getting pregnant in 99% of couples (1 or more of low egg supply, ovulation, or sperm or tubes/ uterine problems) - in the past 15-20% of infertility was 'unexplained'. Treatment works for many couples. No-one wants to see a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility MD, but many couples tell me they wish they had come to us sooner. Best wishes.

None

There are no over the counter meds that will help you conceive. (That said, make sure you are taking prenatal vitamins even if you are just trying.) I would suggest, at your age, that you start with a visit to your doctor. To discuss the risks that would be involved, possible testing to see if you are ovulating, and then alternatives if it is not working. Good luck.

Fertility Testing

Unfortunately there is no way to learn the specific fertility problem you have on the internet. This requires testing for both you and your male partner. I would advise getting to your Gynecologist to discuss this in person.
