My children had fever for 24 hrs and then down to low body temp. This has been happening for 5 days. Temps go between 95.9-97.8 what could cause this?
Fever: Your child may be fighting off a virus or other mild infection. If he is acting fine, you can usually just observe and see if he has any other symptoms. A virus will usually run its course in 7-10 days. ...Read more

What is the alternating time for ibu and tylenol (acetaminophen)? 2 or 4 hours... Cant get fever to go down. 8 month old.
I never recommend it: Pick one or the other and stick with that. Alternating exhausts the kid and caretaker for no benefit.Fever is not the enemy, poor fluid intake is much more likely to put a kid in the hospital while fever actually slows the infection. If the situation spooks you have the kid seen. ...Read more
