How to gain 40 pounds in 2 months?

How to gain 40 pounds in 2 months?

I wouldn't try: I don't know for sure, but i don't think you'd be able to gain that much weight that quickly in a healthy way. It is often not easy for thin people to gain weight, so 40 pounds in such a short time isn't likely feasible unless you pack on unhealthy dense portions of fat and carb calories like fast foods. Better to work on increasing healthy calories at maybe half that pace. Do weight work, too. ...Read more

I gained 25 pounds of water in two weeks! what could cause this? It seems the more water I drink the higher the number increases.

Nothing good...: Nothing good can cause a 25-lb weight gain in a normal, healthy person in just 2 weeks. Heart disease, liver disease, and kidney disease can do it. Cancer in the abdomen can do it. If a person doesn't feel bloated in the abdomen, has no trouble walking or breathing, and doesn't have puffy legs, maybe his scale is broken (and he didn't gain 25-lbs). Of course, the doctor can figure all this out. ...Read more

Started drinking more water to shed water weight. I gained two pounds instead. Does it make sense for the scale to go up initially?

Started drinking more water to shed water weight. I gained two pounds instead. Does it make sense for the scale to go up initially?

Yes: Yes. Initially and for a while. The laws of physics don't change over time. If a person drinks more water, the person will have more water inside her body and thus more water weight.
