I wouldn't try: I don't know for sure, but i don't think you'd be able to gain that much weight that quickly in a healthy way. It is often not easy for thin people to gain weight, so 40 pounds in such a short time isn't likely feasible unless you pack on unhealthy dense portions of fat and carb calories like fast foods. Unlikely: In fairly large studies, birth control pills are generally only associated with weight gain of 1-2 lbs. So 15+ lbs is unlikely caused by the pills. That being said, there are always rare cases, so stopping the pills (and perhaps using condoms for a bit) should drop the weight pretty quickly if they're the cause. That's too rapid.: To gain: eat healthy high calorie foods. Eat 6 meals/day. Work on strength training to build your large muscle groups. Workout w heavier weights w fewer repetitions.
