Is there any way to fix receded gums around eye teeth?

Yes

Talk to a periodontist about tissue grafting. This is where a small area of soft tissue is taken from your palate and placed over the compromised area. The periodontist can tell you whether you are a candidate for a successful procedure.

What could cause swollen receding gums?

Bactrial infection

Teeth
if the bacteria is not removed regularly it can penetrate under the gums and cause deep pockets, the bacteria will attack the bone and will cause bone infection and the gums loose their support, as the pockets get deeper, the infection can cause recession and swelling of the gums as well. How early can your gums start receding?

Anytime

Swollen_gums
We usually see it later in life like the 40's, but some teens show up and already have signs of recession. Brushing too hard, grinding your teeth, orthodontic movement, and of course gum disease all can be etiologies of gum recession.

Dr. Mark Birnbach answered:

What can I do to sort out receding gums?

Receding gums

Nocturnal
Receding gums can be due to several factors. Primary is bacterial deposit on the roots of the teeth. If you haven't seen your dentist/hygienist recently, that would be the first step. Secondly, daily flossing and brushing to keep the bacteria off is essential. Grinding teeth at night can also put excessive forces on the gum and bone. A night guard might be appropriate .
