Nothing best, but...: Without good history and adequate physical exam on the scrotum and its contents plus us and other tests such as ua. .. As needed, it's hard to know what you may have. But based on the described for one at 31, I would empirically use Doxycycline 100 mg by mouth twice daily for 7 days plus cetriaxone 125 mg im once for most simple broad coverage.

Try...: Real "mild" epididymitis is uncommon though commonly used for men with slight tenderness ; firmness at the head of epididymis. Yet, it has still been empirically treated like its acute form with:
- Doxycycline 100 mg orally twice daily x 7 days or Azithromycin 1gm orally once, like a ng-urethritis.
So, result is poor. But, for better rx, one need detailed hx ; specific physicals to define. ...Read more
