How do you deal with hyperchonriacs? My mom won't go see a doctor either. I told her then you don't have a right to complain.
Hypochondria?: If she thinks she has many disorders that she might not truly have, it may be hypochondria. Be sure she has ppo insurance or better, so that her doctor(s) has the resources to see her multiple times. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Walk 15-30 min/day: Walking can strengthen back muscles, decrease back pain, increase strength and endurance and help a person lose weight. It is safe for almost everyone, even with back problems. A person who doesn't do much walking may want to start with just 15 minutes at a slow pace and work up to longer and faster walks. Yes: No one will force feed you pills, unless you are a baby. So, ultimately it is up to you. You will have to live with the consequences of your actions. So, if not taking the medication leads to school failure, then you will have to take summer school, make up work, or whatever. If you get kicked out of school, then you will have to attend a different one, etc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

My mother has demintia , a doctor told me that her carotid artary is 55% blocked and if it gets uncloged, the demintia will go away, is this true?
Dementia: Blocked arteries can be a cause but there are other causes of dementia. See a neurologist and have him/her work up other causes for dementia. A neurologist does not do surgery so there is no bias to do procedures. You will be glad to have gotten more information before you jump into surgery. I do surgery myself and am never upset when patients get another opinion. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
