Vinegar & alcohol: Use a solution of 1/2 white vinegar, and 1/2 rubbing alcohol. Place 5-10 drops in each ear after swimming, lying on each side for 5-10 minutes. If you feel you have an infection, use the drops 4 times a day. The alcohol dries the ear canal, and the white vinegar maintains a healthy acid/base balance (pH) to prevent infection.

Swimmers ear still blocked 7 days?

Swimmers ear still blocked 7 days?

Swimmer's ear or wax: Swimmer's ear is inflammation, irritation, or infection of the outer ear and ear canal. It can be treated with drops; it is reasonable to try vinegar drops first before obtaining a prescription drop. If the ear is completely blocked, however, it could be from impacted wax. This can be softened with hydrogen peroxide then flushed out with warm water. If neither treatment works, see your doctor!
