How To Cure Chlamydia Without Going To The Doctor
I've been diagnosed with chlamydia, and the doctor prescribed azitromicin, saying afterwards it will be totally cured. Can that be true?
Yes: Azithromycin is highly effective in the treatment of chlamydia, although there are no guarantees in life. Hopefully you have been tested for other stds since the person who has one often has more than one. Check HIV and syphilis in particular. Your doctor knows what they are doing. Good luck and get better.

I think I've had Chlamydia for about a year but no symptoms I went to my doctor I was told I was diagnosed with it, will it take longer to cure fully?
Chlamydia: No it should not take any longer to cure it. You may want to return to your doctor after treatment to be rechecked for a cure. Discuss this with your doctor.
My doctor prescribed sulfameth/tmp 800/160mg twice daily for seven days for chlamydia. Will this cure my infection?
I have chlamydia and suspect I may have pid, will the zithromax prescribed cure PID if I have it, or do I need to go back to the doctor to be checked?
Get Treated: It is urgent that you get treated asap. Zithromax 1000 mg or 1 gm is one of the recommended treatments. The sooner you get treated, the less chance of causing permanent scarring of your follapian tubes which in turn can cause infertility. Also, your partner should also be checked and preferably treated.See 1 more doctor answer

Refer by doctor my RHO (D)factor is + after semen test. I have had chlamydia 18 yrs & 1 yr treatment failure to cure it. Pls clarify the meaning RHO (D) +?
RH D Antigen +: All the cells in your body have signposts on them that identify them as belonging to you. The RH D factor is one of these signposts. If you are RH D positive, you have nothing to worry about. If the RH D is negative, you would need to have a medication called Rhogam to protect future pregnancies. But since you are RH D positive, you do not need this medication. Best wishes!
How long does it take for the treatment to cure it 100% and how long do we have to wait to have sex again? Ok my girlfriend was told that she had an early case of chlamydia, and her doctor gave her the antibiotics to get treated. She took them last wedne
You: You should not have sex until 7 days after you both were treated. If you both were treated with the single dose antibiotic last wednesday, then you can have sex again this wednesday without fear of re-infection. If you were on the 10 day course of antibiotics, then you have to wait 7 days from when you finished the antibiotics. Below, I linked to a website from the center for disease control that gives more in-depth information about chlamydia.

FP/IM/GYN/UC: Most primary care physicians can perform this testing-usually a vaginal culture or urine testing.
I have had chlamydia 17 years (its true)including many sub-clinical symptoms and my wife 4 yrs 6 months. Which departmental doctor should I go?
Chlamydia: Both patners need to be treated in order to eradicate the infection, if one is treated and the other is not, then they can keep reinfecting each other; any internist, gyn, infectious disease docs, should be able to treat chlamydia infection. If both partners were treated and yet infection persist then, it may be a case of multi drug resistant chlamydia, in this see and infection disease doc.
Testing: Chlamydia testing (culture) is done post- treatment to be sure that it has been eradicated.
Not possible..: Unless you take another person's prescription. It does respond to brief courses of several antibiotics. See a doctor. Untreated, it can cause serious long term problems!See 2 more doctor answers
