I have a flat spot on my crown area on my head but it just appeared recently. What should I do? It wasn't there when i was 15 but it appeared now
Why on the rigth side of my 4 month old grandson head is flat we turn hem all the time it look like a baby that lay n 1 spot all the time but not hem?

Depends: This issue has emerged since the 90's when we shifted to back sleeping to avoid SIDS. Swelling: If you didn't injure the spot where the head is tender (bumped your head) then it is most likely some skin irritation. You could have an allergic response to some shampoo or other hair treatment. As long as you are not an infant, the skull is closed and it is only the scalp you are feeling. Depends: By the time baby is spending more of her time upright & not laying down, gravity is no longer aggravating the process as much & it has a chance to round out. If the skull is visibly distorted, shifting one ear& part of the face forward as seen from above, a specialized helmet can be worn to help speed the reshaping.
