Possible: Hi. Unintended weight loss can be seen with undiagnosed/untreated diabetes, but with other conditions as well. Is there a family history of diabetes? I have a better idea: You can pig out on food and get fat. That is not a good idea. This won't make you healthy. Most of what you read about "healthy BMI" is bunk. What you can do instead is join a group of serious athletes and share a sport that you enjoy, strenuously and spending a lot of time. They are different: BMR is basal metabolic rate, the rate at which your body burns calories when you are at rest. It is a measure of body metabolism.
