I gained 42 lbs in pregnancy and baby looks on track to be 8.5-9lbs. Dr keeps saying it's a chubby baby with big belly. My fault for overeating??

Pregnancy diet: In general you want to eat a low carbohydrate, vitamin rich diet. So, lots of veggies, lean protein. Avoid too much lake fish and some fatty salt water fish may be an issue, avoid excessive sugar and caffeine. Pregnancy diet: Balanced diet .Wash all vegetables. Prenatal vitamins. Avoid smoked, uncooked meats(deli)/poultry/seafood ,rare meats- could harbor bacteria( listeria).Fish high in mercury. Fresh,washed, greens- there have been infections in bagged salads. Rarely listeria has been in soft unprocessed/pasturized cheese and ice cream. Avoid alcohol.
