My brother has metastatic renal cell carcinoma and it's spread the doctor said he could pass anytime y r they still giving him chemotherapy?

So sorry : Once cancer metastasizes, it is no longer curable. However, individuals can live for some time especially if they are being treated by chemo or targeted therapies. I don't know your brother's exact situation nor dx. If treatment is too toxic for him, he can elect to stop. Drs may be giving him palliative tx which can help with pain and other symptoms. When time comes, consider hospice to help all. ...Read more
