Oral med/treatment: Unfortunately it is tough to treat severe acne, especially on back because u can't see/reach well. This often require systemic/oral med. I strongly recommend discussing this issue with your doc--talk to your parents because you are only 16. Back acne: You would do better by using a Benzyl peroxide wash on your face and back. It is better to use a 2.5 or 5 % wash if you can find them. they are over the counter now. I do: It's really unfortunate that it's been allowed to get this far. It can't be managed by home remedies or topical therapy. Your physician will probably give a trial of a systemic antibiotic and if this fails, refer you to a dermatologist for isotretinoin.
