Yes, but...: Keep in mind the symptoms of constipation are by definition hard and painful to pass stools. Remember a little pushing and uncomfortableness is ok as long as the stools are soft. Also an every other day stool for some bottle fed babies is fine. Keep in mind the position babies are in as they stool, FLAT ON THEIR BACK. Can you imagine? Hard to say: This could be a situation where antibiotic somehow got on the baby's hand and made its way into the GI tract, OR, possibly something you are eating in your diet could be affecting the poop. The only thing that will prove what caused this is whether the funny poop smell is gone after the eye treatment is stopped for a week or so... ...Read more
