No: Enemas are not meant to be used as douche. The ingredients in the two preparations are quite different and the oil in the enema is likely to make matters that you are trying to douche out, worse. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. There : There are over the counter enemas sold at your local pharmacy. A commonly used enema is called a fleet enema (sodium bisphosphate). I would not use it more than once a week. If constipation is your problem then slowly increase the fiber in your diet and try a stool softener like colace every night. Also drink plenty of water. I used 1/2 bottle of premade Fleet MINERAL OIL ENEMA. First time. It said to FOLLOW it with a regular SALINE FLEET ENEMA AFTER, to help pass stool & clean out the oil. It's VERY OILY! CAN I USE A 2ND SALINE TO CLEAN THE OIL better just this one time?
