Some you love: I have discovered that what works best is something you will stick with for the longest period of time. Jogging, walking, cycling/ spin class are great options. So is zumba if you love to dance or hot yoga if that is your thing (personally my favorite). Sustainability for the long run. Mixing up your routine in order not to get bored is helpful. Weight training to build muscle is beneficial.

Jogging: You need to make sure the quality of you jogging is helping you burn fat. Interval training burns more fat than just a constant pace for at least 45 min. So run for 80% your max for 60 sec then easy jog 30 sec...Then repeat. Adequate exercise is only half the solution, so the proper diet is necessary to make you lose weight. Low calories, low carbs, lots of protein.

Probably not: It's not unusual to lose alot of weight when you start a new exercise program, especially and intense one. The weight loss should slow down. Just make sure you are taking enough time for recovery as that is when your muscles heal and get bigger, which is what we all want!

Depends: That is excellent exercise especially if you did 2 miles twice a day. If you combine that with 6 healthy meals, a good night sleep, and stress reduction and persist at it you certainly are likely to lose weight and gain muscle. Cardio Mix: If you have adipose tissue that you'd like to lose then consider an increase in cardio and a balanced diet. However, do not always do the same exercise or you will increase your risks for stress injuries. Mix things up with running, biking, swimming, or circuit training. Ultimately you need to burn more than you consume.
