I have been tired, irritable, and can't seem to lose weight. I have been working out 5 days week eating about 1600 calorie diet. I have celiac disease and I am eating a gluten free diet, just had a colonoscopy that was normal.

Difficult to know: Your constipation & weight loss might not be related. Your colonoscopy that is done to screen for colon cancer is reassuring. Your constipation could be due to low fiber/fluid intake or drug side effects. It’s also unusual to lose weight without trying unless you are not eating much or have a bad appetite because of the constipation. Diverticulosis: You may have diverticulosis pouches which are a common cause of loose stools and passage of bright red blood.
