Not likely.: The body is pretty smart. At your age you really have to work hard to make it fail. Organs don't just "shut down." they adapt and work hard to prevent failure. That weight is above: 25th%ile for her age, which is fine if she's been growing along that curve. Add solids when she's 14-16 lbs., 4-6 months old, taking > 32 ounces/day or nursing more than 10-12 times/day & has enough upper body control to face the spoon when hungry & turn away when full.
