How Much L Arginine Should Be Taken Pre Workout
Hi, I'm 17 right now and I want to take some pre workout and it contain 1000 mg of L-arginine, is it safe to take?
Hi im 17 and want to increase my height im 5, 10 and should I take l arginine so yes how much per day and is it must to do workout after taking it?
Waste of money: You are most likely to reach your tallest potential height by following a healthy diet, getting appropriate sleep & and remaining physiclly active. Nothing you eat or drink will add inches. No exercise will make you taller. You can stunt your growth by the opposite, poor diet/sleep/inactivity can all take a toll. At 17 you are likely near the end of your growth phase. ...Read more
I would like to add l-arginine to my workout supplement regimen. Read that if on BP meds=bad idea. Generally safe or not?
If you are eating a balanced diet, this dietary supplement will not do you any good, other than lightening your wallet.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. ...Read more
I want to know about L-arginine benefits and muscle gain. I'm doing HIIT (High Intensity Intervals Training) every day, FOCUS T25 Workout.
When is the best time to take l-arginine amino acid for the veins to show? *i workout very hard* and what is the recommended daily dosage? Is it safe?
When you wish: Congratulations on taking up strength training. Arginine is safe, it may help you build some muscle by stimulating growth hormone, and may indeed accent your being vascular though keeping lean and high blood volume by doing a lot of cardio and watching fats and carbs in your food will help more. See whether you look more vascular shortly after taking arginine, and if so, take it before show times. ...Read more
Is it okay to consume alcohol after 6 hours of taking bsn nitrix (its a workout supplement main ingredients are L-Arginine and alpha keto-glutarate)?
I take adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). I also workout. I started some supplements. Are there any interactions, please be specific. Supplements are creatine monohydrate, l-arginine, and whey protein with glutamine.
Generally none: Supplements with Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) should have no problem but some people have problems with supplements. Start with one supplement at a time give it at least one month then add another if no problems with your body. Looks like your trying to build muscle mass. Good luck. ...Read more
Can a 19 year old take l arginine? If so, how often should it be taken and when is the best time to take it during the day?
Arginine: You can take it but if you are well and have a balanced diet you are likely achieving the same thing. Many people use it has a supplement prior to exercise. 6 mg a day in divided doses will not harm you. More than 10 mg will make you sick. All the best and just try to include it in your diet. ...Read more
Unknown: All meds & supplements have potential side effects, and usually it's a pretty long list of potential but uncommon side effects. Side effects are not always dose dependent, so even 1 dose can sometimes cause. Just b/c it's a supplement doesn't mean no risk. I discuss w/ my pts about doing a risk-benefit analysis before starting a new tx. ...Read more
Maybe not...: To assess if one's erections have weakened, he should visit a primary doctor, who can check for possible causes: stress, depression, diabetes, high blood pressure, low testosterone, artery disease, high cholesterol, smoking, older age, etc... Causes found can be treated to help make erections stronger, firmer, longer lasting. A urologist can evaluate. Meds like viagra, cialis, or Levitra (vardenafil) may help. ...Read more
NO: If you have acute or chronic herpes it's long been thought that l-arginine will aggravate it, but it can not make herpes grow if you don't have herpes already. However, the evidence that arginine actually aggravates herpes is surprisingly slight, so it is probably safe to take even if you have herpes! See http://www. Metametrixinstitute. Doubt it: At a listed age of 19, your growth centers are likely closed and no further linear growth would be expected. An x-ray of your wrist and hand could be reviewed for open growth centers, but if they show closure you are finished growing taller. If open, a balanced diet, proper rest and regular exercise will support proper growth. Diet supplements or hormone injections only help those with deficiency ...Read more
Safety, unclear need: L-arginine is a dietary supplement. It is made by the body, but is used as a supplement in various adult disorders. No specific indications have been identified in chidlren and adolescents, and it is a substance that, in overdose, can cause brain edema and even death. Oberdose is easier in children because of their smaller size. So, no clear value and possible risk: not a good combination. ...Read more
Effective for cold: Sores by mouth, if taken early enough, and is an amino acid, so it's relatively safe to take. Seem to be a popular home remedy. However, if you are using for something else, then it may or may not be effective depending on the diagnosis. So, if it's in the groin area, it may not be as effective. Make sure your pcp can check your area of concern to diagnose it and treat it quickly. ...Read more
Adjunct only: I don't believe it will do anything for you. The proposed mechanisms make no sense, and the whole thing is cultish. Interestingly, there's a counter-cult based on taking no arginine in the diet. I wouldn't give money to a pill company that misled me. If you want to try arginine, don't give up on conventional treatment. ...Read more
